• A COD return takes 25–30 days to come back

During this long transit:

• It takes 1–2 months to restore the plant before resale

Additionally, we pay both forward and return shipping charges, resulting in double financial loss.

2. Customer Unavailability Causes Unnecessary COD Returns

Many COD returns happen because:

• Customers are at work

• They are out of town

• They miss the delivery call

Often customers think:
“I’ll reorder later.”

But the reality is:

• Shipping cost is lost

3. Why Courier Companies Return COD Orders Without OTP

This is a major reason why COD fails for live plants.

Why courier companies allow this

Courier companies earn twice when a COD order is returned:

• Once for sending the parcel

• COD parcels may be returned without OTP confirmation
